As part of our strive in making great design accessible, we never charge for shipping within Europe.


For our friends in Switzerland and Norway additional customs charges and national VAT will be charged directly by the local tax authorities and needs to be paid separately by the customer. Should you have further questions regarding additional charges please contact your local tax office.

The shipping time information displayed on product pages and in the order confirmation email is an estimate and might be subject to change.

Holiday Shopping Terms

  Place your orders before Dec 10th to guarantee a safe arrival by December 24th.

Standard Delivery Services

Small Parcels and Normal Parcels

Hem most commonly uses DPD as the standard delivery service for parcel shipments. DPD will attempt to deliver the parcel to the provided address. If delivery fails the first time DPD will (depending on country) reattempt the delivery or make the parcel available for pickup at the local Post Office.

Freight

Hem most commonly uses DB Schenker as the Freight forwarder. The service includes a standard curbside delivery. Curb side delivery means that the courier will deliver your item(s) to the curb of your specified delivery address. This service does not include removal of packaging, assembly or setup of your item(s).


Our delivery partner will contact you before the delivery to propose a delivery date and time frame with an option to reschedule this if the time is inconvenient. If you happen to not be at home at the agreed time of delivery, your item might be returned to the warehouse. In that case, you need to contact us to arrange a re-delivery. An extra delivery cost at the rate originally paid will occur. 


Return policy 

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from Hem. Once you have received your delivery, please inspect the product(s) and inform us within 5 days of delivery if anything is missing or has been damaged in transit. We will refund or replace any item that arrives damaged. The original box for the product needs to be saved to be able to claim the product. Please contact our customer team for more info on how to proceed at info@hem.com


If you are not happy with your item, you may return your non-damaged and unused Hem purchase in its original packaging within 14 days.
