A day at the Capital View Triathlon for my San Jose buddies… the race, the treats, the end, oh my.

This is a great triathlon, a great location, and well run event at Nelson Park, just north of Madison Wisconsin. The park is on the north side of Lake Mendota with a mixture of hilly and wooded trails, and trails through fields returned to their natural state of wild flowers, and various prairie plants.

I guess this is sort of a vanity video, but it does show special highlights from the race… the start, a little of the middle, and the treats in the end – plus a mug shot or two.

Scene’s from 2008 North Mankato Triathlon. Nephew Aaron talked us into doing the race… his dad, and uncles. Had a great time passing and being passed.

This is Aaron’s graduation race… My nephew talked us into doing this race (his dad and Bindl uncle’s), and then he took a 2,000 mile bike ride to Niagara Falls without a video camera. Highlights of the Capitol View Triathlon for my friends and family that enjoy a good swim, bike, and a run. Finally back after three years recovering.
