I started racing in triathlons in about 1987. From my recollection, my first one may have been the original U.W. Hospital Sports Medicine Triathlon held at Lake Kegonsa State Park in July 1987. I was 86th of about 360 people, and 8th in my age group. I got hooked as these were much better results than my running only results. Below are highlights from some of my better races.
