I call this spoof on a spoof because it somewhat spoofs the contest concept – in friendly way -  where the objective is to do a spoof on one of three sample commercials. Mine combines girlfriend, party, and tragedy. I combined them all in to one purposely sober thought. Check out the video and vote – unfortunately you have to be 21, and register, but it’s register friendly.

I found what I was looking for in Toon Boom animation software. The initial learning curve was slightly steep, although in reflection, Flash was also. The key difference with Studio 4 is that it accomplished two tasks that I was struggling with in Flash. One task was to create pivot points so arms and legs moved properly when I bent them at the elbow or knee. Another was to synchronize lips with voice. This review video demonstrates lip syncing and pivot points with a few free hand and traced animation… one of myself saying phonemes. It also shows samples from Toon Booms website on major places using the software.
