I call this spoof on a spoof because it somewhat spoofs the contest concept – in friendly way -  where the objective is to do a spoof on one of three sample commercials. Mine combines girlfriend, party, and tragedy. I combined them all in to one purposely sober thought. Check out the video and vote – unfortunately you have to be 21, and register, but it’s register friendly.

Just some photo’s I found the other day. One is a favorite from Menomonie, in front of a long gone barber shop. The other won 1st place in photo contest, and the others from my pottery days. Perhaps one day I’ll dig back into the clay. 

Hey David… I kept the cheap cigar lit while cookin burgers on the grill. This started out to be one shot video, but soon became edited shots as someone bumped camera and turned it off instead of on.

Easter 2008 in Madison Wisconsin area. A few snow flurries linger on after another record breaking day of snowfall accumulation – last Friday. We’re getting close to that 100 inch range range. — Note: About an hour after posting this message the Madison Airport reported 100.2 inches of snow accumulation for the year. Easter is the day we broke 100 inches.

Got distracted today while checking on advertising statistics and found a last minute video contest for Hass Avocado’s. The contents was posted on Feb 15th, and films are due tonight at midnight. So this is what I came up with between 2:00pm and 7:30pm today. Wrote script for both, then a 3 instrument melody in Acid. Added voice track on top of midi tracks. Made all of the animations except one of me, and used Cinescore for last music track.

Freedom Flight is making sure we don’t forget the 88,000 plus POW and MIA solders around the world. Even though I’ve heard about this before, but the balloon worked as a good reminder.
